NFL on the Run

NFL on the Run is an international collaboration aimed at exploring and addressing the diverse traditions in youth work across Europe. The project brings together experts from various fields to exchange and enhance their methods, contributing to a comprehensive and practical approach to youth education and support. The partnership focuses on engaging young people with fewer opportunities, with each partner working alongside a local organisation that supports youth through different approaches such as sports and cultural associations, fire-fighters, police and social departments, or church-based initiatives.

Partners from Germany, Hungary, Serbia, and Italy follow different working methodologies; however, these approaches complement one another and strengthen innovation, cooperation, and shared learning. Based on insights gathered from our local associated partners, we have already produced 15 podcasts that highlight diverse practices and experiences. These will be accompanied by educational cards and video tutorials. We are currently working on the design and final polishing of the cards, including translations that will enable wider accessibility and support learning across languages.

So far, our team has met in Hungary and Italy, with one more project meeting planned in Serbia in April. After that, the educational cards will be ready for you to explore and use. In addition to these materials, we will also prepare an online training course for facilitators of non-formal learning, enabling them to integrate all our project outputs into their work. Finally, we will promote non-formal learning among local and regional decision makers who are not yet familiar with it, presenting evidence of its impact on young people and the wider community.
