Belonging to Nature
Did you know that being in nature or even just observing nature through a window can reduce stress, anger and fear? Nature has a very big influence on our body, emotions and mind, so it is very important that nature becomes our best possible friend.
Results of this project helps youth workers and young people to strengthen their sense of belonging to nature and in this way work on their mental and physical wellbeing while nurturing the nature at the same time.
This project enabled 25 youth workers to experience connection to nature two times, once in Slovenia and the second time in Iceland. These training courses prepared them for work with youth in and with nature.
Apart from training course, we produced several products, such as Theoretical framework about nature and youth and Manual to use when supporting the awareness of belonging to nature. There is so much more. Check the website for inspirational material and tools.
