Ambitia is dedicated to advancing nonformal learning, especially within the domain of youth work. Our mission is twofold: to empower young individuals within rural communities and to contribute to the development of youth work methodologies internationally. Locally, we work closely with rural communities, supporting young people in organizing various activities tailored to their needs or interests. Internationally, our focus lies in developing tools and methodologies for youth work and nonformal learning, prioritizing social and civic responsibility, sustainability, creativity, mental health, and learning.
In addition to project-based work, we are actively involved in research on youth and the quality of youth work. Our organisation serves as a support system for innovative individuals, youth workers, and organizations, providing information, inspiration, professional assistance in application writing, and platforms for financing and promotion. Guided by our values of learning, development, and sustainability, we strive to create opportunities for personal and professional growth, both locally and internationally. Our work is characterized by a strong commitment to inclusivity, tolerance, and intercultural understanding, reflecting our belief in the transformative power of youth engagement and nonformal learning.
